The best in double and twin pushchairs
I used to (quite foolishly) believe that double and twin pushchairs were solely for those who had twin babies, and weren’t really of interest to anyone else. But recently, a friend who has had two children in very quick succession, put me right on this. If you have two children under the age of three, a twin buggy is an absolute must, because there is no way you will be able to carry one tired toddler whilst trying to push another around in a pushchair. Double and twin pushchairs used to be a thing of horror. Big and bulky, difficult to maneuver, and just so heavy, especially for a mother…

Springtime essentials – Keep these in your car.
We have already seen the first Bank Holidays of the year pass by, but the beauty of Spring is that they now come thick and fast, with two more to look forward to in May. Add into that the lighter nights, and the brighter, sunnier weekends, and we now have lots of lovely opportunities to spend time in the great outdoors. With that in mind, I have put together a list of a few essentials that it may be worth keeping in the car – a sort of Spring tool kit if you like. Making the most of your garden with a some footie fun
One of the best things about the arrival of Spring is the chance for Joe to play out in the garden, both after school and in the holidays. Joe is most definitely the sort of child who would be described as an ‘outdoorsy’ type, he likes all kinds of sports, running, climbing and riding his scooter. But the thing he loves doing most is playing with a football. The phase ‘football crazy’, may just have been made for him. My football Mad boy So, the return of the light nights and warmer weather also mean the start of the garden football season for my family. Joe already has his eyes…

Bank Holiday Ideas For Families
The first Bank Holiday of 2016 is almost upon us. Yes, Easter arrives this week, and families everywhere are looking for ideas and activities that will keep their little ones occupied, whatever the weather. As a mother of a very active, 7 year old boy, I know how tiring it can be keeping children who are used to being busy at school, occupied once they come home. But there are things you can do, and it doesn’t have to break the bank. Indoor picnic and movie day. Yes the weather isn’t great, so grab a duvet, pick your favourite dvds – Disney, Pixar or Dreamworks are always great, and then…

Just in time for Easter – Paw Patrol release Pups and the Pirate Treasure
Paw Patrol is quite a hit when it comes to the children in my family. My two year old niece Renee is a huge fan of the series, her favourite pup being the very cute Skye. Renee will literally watch Paw Patrol on a loop if allowed, and the toys were top of last year’s Christmas list. My son Joe is 7 and is far too cool for Paw Patrol now, except he can often be found watching it at breakfast time, while he eats his corn flakes and gets ready for school. Yes, Paw Patrol is a real favourite in my family. March 14th sees the release of a…
