Wicked Uncle solves those Children’s party dilemmas
It all started when Joe was five. Before this, we had been invited to a few children’s birthday parties, spread out at intervals throughout the year. Then suddenly Joe hit five, and he suddenly had more party invites than the whole cast of TOWIE put together. It seemed like rarely a weekend passed without a birthday party from a cousin or a school friend. We attended a party this weekend, and now have party invites for the next three weekends. A child’s social life is certainly a busy one! Of course, birthday parties bring the problem of what to give for a gift. You know what your own child likes…

Father’s day is now just a month away, and so this is the perfect time to think about what you are going to get for that very special person in your life. Although there are the usual choices of aftershave, personalised socks, a bottle of whisky or a block of Toblerone to turn to, wouldn’t it be nice this year to give your dad something really special, something that would raise a smile and give him something he would cherish forever? Mix up the Magic on Playdates
Petits Filous are very popular in my house, with both my little boy and myself being a huge fan of them as an after dinner treat. Recently they have launched a new variety which combines two flavours in one pot. Magic Squares come in two flavours, strawberry & vanilla and raspberry & vanilla, and both are delicious and still full of calcium and vitamin d, making them feel like a real sweet treat, but with goodness that children need in their balanced diet. The flavours are…

This post is everything you need to make your little girl look perfect for her upcoming event. Consider the Dress Code Pretty much every event children go to these days comes with some kind of dress code or guideline that you can go by. (Our most recent invite is for Princesses and Super heroes.) But you also…

Frankie and Benny’s great new kids menu
On Sunday, my family and I were invited along to Frankie and Benny’s at The Fort Shopping Centre in order to review their latest children’s menu. As a family, we are already big fans of the Italian/American restaurant, finding them to be very family friendly with a great extensive menu, but I had never been to The Fort branch before. Needless to say, we had a wonderful time. The children’s menu has been extended, with new options that include ‘build a burger’ and ‘wrap it up chicken’ options. The children’s menu is good in that it is divided into two separate sections, ‘kids’ and ‘juniors’ so that it caters for…
