Extra storage from the Plastic Box Shop
I cannot be the only one looking at a child’s Christmas list and thinking ‘where are we going to put all these toys?’, or trying to sort the wardrobe from Summer to Winter (I know I’m late, but two weeks ago the weather was still fairly glorious). and struggling for space to store the summer clothing until the warm weather comes around again. The Plastic Box Shop has a fantastic range of storage solutions that will basically address any problem area. If you need storage for…

A Christmas letter from the Lapland Mailroom
My little boy Joe was unwell today and didn’t go to school. So whilst we were tucked up under blankets on the sofa, we thought this was an ideal opportunity for Joe to write his letter to Santa. Joe was really excited about this, he had been formulating a list for some time now, and he is also beginning to really enjoy writing too. Blue Mango – a fantastic food destination in Birmingham
Blue Mango, situated on Regency Wharf in Birmingham, may just well be my new favourite destination when it comes to Indian Food. It combines unusual dishes with delicious flavours and great attentive service, to create a wonderful dining experience that makes you want to go back again and again. The restaurant has plenty of large tables to accommodate family groups, but we were seated at a cosy booth style seating area that was perfect for a couple. We were given time to peruse the menus, and order drinks. Pete (my husband)…

Christmas jumpers for everyone
I saw my first Christmas House last night. You know what I mean, the houses that I always refer to as Griswold houses after one of my favourite Christmas films, ‘National Lampoons Christmas Vacation’. I did think it was a little early to be decking the halls as such, but it did give me a warm glow too – Christmas is coming! With all that in mind, my Friday shopping focus could only look at one thing – the Christmas Jumper. I remember when these were something only worn by people trying to be funny or ironic – the dreaded gift from nans and ancient aunts in possession of a…
