Enjoying those Fairy Soft moments
Joe started Year 1 last week, a really big moment where you suddenly realise that your baby isn’t your baby anymore, but a really grown up and independent little boy. Even on that first day, parents were not allowed into the classroom, but rather had to wave them off from the door. We weren’t allowed to sort out tuck money, but were instead asked to provide a wallet so that our children can pay for their own milk and fruit. And then yesterday, Joe ran straight off with his friends, chatting about football…and never returned to give me a goodbye kiss. I was absolutely bereft – where had my baby…

Reviewed – PaddlePak by Trunki
I have been a fan of the Trunki brand ever since I saw the first little suitcase on wheels. It was perfect, a storage space that could also double as a ride on toy or a seat for your little one. Trunki’s are both lightweight and durable, they provide a great travel option for those with young children, and they are a whole lot of fun too. But what about for the slightly older children? More cute designs from Chatty Feet
Chatty Feet, the company who ‘put quirky characters at your toes’ have recently launched a whole range of new designs. As ever, the socks are, quite literally, full of character, they are funny and quirky and can either be a real talking point that you show off to your friends, or a little secret that you hide underneath your business suit. I love the idea of Chatty feet, putting the fun back into your sock drawer! I was sent a pair of Yoko Mono socks to review in size 4-8. I quite honestly adored them. Obviously based on a gorgeous Japanese lady (how funny is the punny name!), the design…

If you have a child under the age of 10, the chances are they are in the middle of some sort of obsession. This could be with Disney Cars, Monster High, Spiderman, Barbie, Skylanders – the list is positively endless. For my little boy, the obsession is Angry Birds, or, to be more specific, Star Wars Angry Birds. He seems to live, sleep and dream about them. Which is why I was so happy about an introduction to LamaLoLi. LamaLoLi is an online shop selling branded fashion children’s hero products. Mainly concerned with t-shirts, sweatshirts, underwear and pyjama’s, the store also stocks some great winter coats and anoraks, along with…

A trip to Cadbury World
Cadbury World is undoubtedly one of the Midlands biggest tourist attractions, and one which each year seems to go from strength to strength. Truly an attraction that has something to interest all ages, this season there has been the added interest of the Cadbury World 4d chocolate adventure which was launched in June, as well as the welcome visit of Zippy and George from Rainbow. Last Sunday, my family went along to enjoy a chocolate filled day at Cadbury World, and, as I sit here enjoying a Dairy Milk, I thought I would share our thoughts with you. Entry to Cadbury world is by time slot tickets, this means that…
