Ghost floats into the New Alexandra Theatre
Do a quick straw poll to find the most heartbreaking, most romantic film of all time, and the chances are Ghost will be mentioned. The supernatural romance tugged a million heartstrings, tempted women everywhere to cut their hair a la the achingly gorgeous Demi Moore, and reinforced the fact that Patrick Swayze was the heart-throb of his generation. Disney Dare to Dream charms at The NIA
The latest Disney on Ice show hit Birmingham last week, with a special VIP performance at the NIA. Disney’s Dare to Dream is a celebration of the most magical of Disney characters, the Fairytale princesses, with particular emphasis on four of those lovely ladies. A show full of sparkle and magic, ‘Dare to Dream’ charmed even those hardest of hearts with glitter, romance and utterly enchanting ice dance. The Emmys Good looks/bad looks
Last night was the most important night in television for Americans. It was the star studded Emmy awards. I stayed up into the early hours discussing the key looks with some of my favourite twitter ladies, Natalie from Fashion Blags and LuAnne from Weesha’s World and really enjoyed the red carpet event, which was pretty stylish in all honesty. The Emmys are not like the BAFTAS.
