Favourite looks from the Elle Style Awards
Tonight saw a whole host of stylish ladies attending the Elle Style Awards. One of the most respected of all style awards, this year saw luminaries like Emma Watson, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Suki Waterhouse and Cara Delevingne amongst the ladies in attendance. With a guest list like this, we were promised some interesting looks at the very least, and unfortunately, it has to be said that most of the looks on display were to be admired for being interesting, rather than actually looking that good. Disney on Ice is returning to Birmingham!
It is the news that has got my five year old very excited, the fabulous Disney on Ice is returning to the Birmingham LG Arena next month with a very special show that see’s the Tinkerbell story making it’s Ice debut. The Disney on Ice shows are always a fabulous mix of Disney fairytales, soaring music and incredible dance, true entertainment for the whole family. This season’s show is called ‘Worlds of Fantasy’, and takes elements from three much loved Disney favourites, along with a segment dedicated to one of the newest Disney stories. Reviewed – The Dishwashers at The REP
On Tuesday night I attended the press night for ‘The Dishwashers’ at The REP, Birmingham’s renowned Repertory theatre. The REP was launching it’s 2014 season with this clever, thought-provoking play by Morris Panych, described as ‘…a delicious play about the Zen of dishwashing’, and expectations were most definitely high, particularly with the almost legendary David Essex in the lead role. The great news is that the plays delivers in all areas. The play is effectively a three hander. The 2014 SAG Awards – All the best looks
Last night I stayed up very late to watch the 2014 SAG Awards (actually it was early this morning, but I’m not going to confuse matters. The SAG Awards are another in the stream of pre-Oscars events that often give pointers to who will win at the big event, and as such, the Hollywood a-list turn out in force. Traditionally the SAGs have been seen as a more relaxed affair, but that did not seem to be the case last night.
