Victoria by Victoria Beckham – Really cute!
Victoria Beckham has finally unveiled her diffusion collection ‘Victoria’ by Victoria Beckham, and it is quite different from her usual collections to say the least. A cute collection of shorter, 1960s style shifts and mini dresses, this seems miles away from her usual collections in terms of sophistication. Whereas her Victoria Beckham line is full of cool and elegant looks, this is the fun and flirty side of Mrs Beckham. Think the younger sister of the mainline wearer and you might be getting somewhere. This line is bright and colourful, and will retail much cheaper than the normal collection. The silhouettes are loose and flowing, non of the va-va-voom of…

Prabal Gurung – it’s sheer love!
Don’t mind admitting I just love Prabal Gurung. This was the one show during New York fashion show that I was over-excited about, and the shots of SJP wearing one of Prabal’s designs whilst on the promotional trail for ‘I don’t know how she does it’, just further wetted the appetite. The designer, one of Michelle Obama‘s favourites, produced a collection that was gorgeously feminine, supremely elegant and totally girly – all of which is music to my ears. Full of peachy pinks and coral tones, using the wispiest of chiffons and silks, this was a collection for those who really wished to embrace the pretty side of their style personality. Harking back to the 1950s days of Balenciaga and Jacques Fath, there were pieces in this collection that would have graced…

Victoria Beckham at New York Fashion week
Sometimes it’s hard to believe she was ever Posh Spice. Victoria Beckham is now a long way away from her Spice Girl incarnation, and with her latest collection unveiled at New York fashion week, and huge waiting lists for her bags, she has finally been accepted as a talented designer who is here to stay. Here new collection has received praise from fashionistas and critics alike. The 29 piece collection marked a departure from the form-fitting dresses of the previous ranges, with of soft fabrics and looser fitting dresses in a range of lengths. Many of the dresses had a streamlined effect, and the overall impression left was of…
