A Selfridges Christmas – ‘Not your Usual Christmas’
Last week I was lucky enough to attend my second Selfridges Christmas Bloggers event in that wonderful store in Birmingham. Meeting up with so many of my favourite bloggers from the Midlands, whilst enjoying the chance to look at upcoming trends and current in-store obsessions, this is always a night to treasure. If you then add in a gorgeous meal at Itihaas Indian Brasserie and a makeover at Sisley, you get a night that is truly one to remember. Here are some of my key highlights from a wonderful night. 1 Shoes to die for… 2. You can never have too many bags! 3. Gorgeous Garments 4. Blogger fun…

Boohoo Press Day – frills, brocade and a bit of Chanel styling
If you are sitting there thinking that Boohoo is one for the younger crew, think again. I attended the Boohoo Spring/Summer preview a couple of weeks ago and just fell in love with so many things, if my bag had been big enough I would’ve been leaving with quite a few of them. Boohoo is just known for really affordable ‘fast fashion’, but that doesn’t mean that style is abandoned. On the contrary, there are some pieces that could come from a designer atelier. Just check out the Chanel style jackets and coats that scream Lagerfeld, or the beautiful quilted, embroidered boots that have more than a touch of McQueen…

Fashion Focus – Taylor Swift
She is the gorgeous pop/country star who has stolen the heart of the most eligible man(boy?) in music, but it is Taylor Swift’s enviable wardrobe that I am interested in. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this girl put a foot wrong when it comes to clothes. Whether she is dressing for the red carpet, channeling trademark 1950s chic in a range of beautiful, full skirted dresses, or just dressing casually off duty, this girl is never anything less than a style icon. I bow to that wardrobe. No wonder Harry Styles seems smitten… Look 1 Get the look Look 2 Get the look Look 3 Get the look…

Reviewed – Clarks Nessa Clare Boots
Like a lot of ladies who enjoyed some sport when they were younger, I have rather large calf muscles, which makes buying calf length and knee High boots a challenge. So when I was asked to review a pair of boots from Clarks, I immediately opted for a pair from the K range, which have wider E fittings and a wider leg fitting. The boots I chose were the gorgeous Nessa Clare in black patent. These are a classic riding style boot with a practical flat heel that makes them perfect for everyday use. The black patent finish also gives them a slightly dressier feel, as does the striking ankle…

Ted Baker’s Sweet Shoppe – Good enough to eat
Some of the frothiest, prettiest fashion accessories around at the moment are the ones that form the Ted Baker Sweet Shoppe. In a range of the brightest shades that range from the zingiest yellows to the palest of ice cream pinks, the Sweet Shoppe range has it all. A great selection of tote bags, purses, gloves and shoppers, I think these are just the cutest pressies on the market this year. Personal favourites are those gorgeous Chuppa gloves, that come in my favourite colour, a yellow so bright the sun pales in comparison, but are probably more practical in the cool and neutral tan shade . And don’t forget those…
