Simply Be Plise Ruffle Midi Dress Reviewed
I am a huge fan of Simply Be. They offer great quality clothing that comes in a really good range of sizes, with the sizing actually being true to size (one of my main bugbears of fashion is when a size large is a size 12!). I also love that the website is a one stop shop, you can get everything from holiday fashion to formal wear, you can find a dress for a wedding, a prom, for sightseeing, or to wear for work. The range is vast and varied and I would defy anyone to not find something they liked, whatever their taste. My current favourite is the Simply…

Olivia Palermo is the face of Coast
It is a match made in fashion heaven. Coast, the home of elegant, glamorous pieces for every occasion, has announced that the effortlessly stylish Olivia Palermo is the face of their Autumn/Winter collection for 2016. Olivia has used her impeccable taste to handpick her key pieces from the new ranges, and then has styled them into a capsule wardrobe that will basically make your Autumn/Winter dressing a complete success. The collection is full of muted tones, classic shapes and has the elegant, graceful look that you expect of Olivia Palermo. It feels like the sort of pieces she would pick out of her wardrobe, throw them together with a nonchelance…

My love/hate for Rodarte.
I’m in love/hate for Rodarte. I really don’t know whether I love the designs, or hate them. At their most creative the Rodarte sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy conjure up designs that can be described as beautiful, ethereal, wispy, ghostlike, and truly stunning. You imagine tragic heroines like Ophelia, Juliet, Camille and Mimi from La Boheme experiencing glamorous suffering in Rodarte. Rodarte would’ve been the designers of choice for those lost generation divas Zelda Sayre and Lady Otterline Morrell. D W Griffiths would’ve used their costumes to clothe Lilian Gish in all those fab silent weepies like ‘The Wind’. Rodarte is truly beautiful… But then I get to thinking again…

Suits You Sir – The Perfect Gents Attire
Last week I focused on updating the working wardrobe with the emphasis on woman’s styles, saying that the Autumn season is the perfect time to update your look, with the changes in the weather, the end of the Summer malaise, and the general feeling of making a new start. Thousands of young people may be entering the workplace for the first time, after finishing university or college, so making a great first impression is ultra important. Today I am looking at formal and workwear for men, with a look at some great pieces that you can currently get at bargain prices from Suitsmen. Suitsmen has been a trusted name in…
