Channel Pippa style in a slinky red dress.

Pippa Middleton made a special public appearance this weekend, attending a charity boxing ball. So what makes this occasion special?  Well, it involved an evening gown for the first time since  the younger Miss Middleton wore that gorgeous Alice Temperley jade dress on the evening of the royal wedding. And this new dress was red-hot!

Pippa looked sensational in this red, plunging halter neck dress in satin. She teamed this with a gorgeous Wilber and Gussie clutch bag that you can currently buy from House of Fraser for £160.

With Geri Halliwell also wearing red for the event, and with Kate wearing a raspberry pink/red shade in lace last weekend, I think it is safe to say red is making a hot re-appearance on the style radar. With the festive season not that far away I have been trawling the web to find the best red dresses available. I think red is always an interesting choice, and makes a good alternative to black.
