Charity Shop And Vinted Finds – January Edition

It’s January again, for many the darkest, dullest month of the year after the glitter and lights of Christmas. It is true that our houses seem to be much gloomier places once the decorations come down, it is also true that the clear up allows us to have a really good sort out and to clear some of the clutter and debris of our homes,and this also includes our wardrobes.

If you are having a sort out this month, don’t forget that you could be helping a good cause by donating clean, undamaged goods to one of the many charity shops you find on our High Streets. Acorns Children’s Hospice charity is just one of many deserving good causes that are asking for help this year, and whilst you are donating your own things, you will probably find something fabulous to take home with you too, as charity shops are absolute treasure troves at this time of the year. Many unwanted Christmas gifts end up in charity shops, as well as unwanted party wear (charity shops are the best and most ethical place to pick up a sequin) which you can pick up for a song and then keep fresh to wear next Christmas. Don’t forget the saying that one man’s tat is another man’s treasure, and I can personally vouch that this saying is absolutely true,

Where possible, I have given the cost and the shop where I found the item, just as an example of all the brilliant things you can find on our High Streets without having to break the bank.
