Charity Shops, Vintage And Vinted Buys – Wales Edition

It’s finally Spring, the sun came out at the weekend, and I spent a fabulous Easter week in Mid Wales, one of my favourite places in the World. The weather was pretty kind, managed to miss most of the rain that seemed to tumble down, and I had lots of chance to look out for some fabulous charity shop and vintage finds, as well as being able to wear some of my thrifted Vinted finds.

Spring is a great time to look at your wardrobe, but that doesn’t mean spending a fortune. Many people use the new season as a chance to have a wardrobe sort out, and so charity shops are full of discarded finds, and Vinted is extremely busy, as people get rid of their unwanted treasures, often unworn and many with tags still in place. This means that you can update your own wardrobe in a guilt free way that may help someone with a small clothing business, or a worthwhile charity.

I have split this post into sections that include vintage fashion – there were just so many great labels and really good vintage finds in great condition, including Jacques Vert classic shoes and the much loved M&S St Michael label which is highly sort after. I have also got a section on my own passion, Art Deco as there were some beautiful finds in the homewares category, as well as more general fashion finds that included labels like J Crew and Zadig & Voltaire.

If you haven’t yet turned to thrifted shopping, then why not? It helps to stop clothing going to landfill, helps your money to go further as there are so many bargains, and can also help you to keep your own, original style as you are not wearing an identikit from the High Street. If you make one shopping resolution this month, try to shop preloved.
