December Outfit post part 2 – Christmas!
Welcome to part 2 of my outfit round up for the month of December. This is the part of the run up concentrating on the outfits I wore over the Christmas period, so, as you might expect, it contains a lot of glitter and sparkle. There are also lots of new things that I was gifted for Christmas by my lovely hubby and family. And, as we are now firmly entrenched in the January sales, lots of the items are now heavily reduced, giving you the ideal opportunity to grab a great sales bargain.
I am always firmly of the opinion that the Christmas tree shouldn’t be the only thing that sparkles at Christmas, and sequinned and glittering skirts are one of my fave items of clothing. I love the idea of wearing them in a more casual style with a thin knit or slouchy style jumper. This is a style I adopted a lot over Christmas period – for the cinema on Christmas Eve, for Boxing Day and for a trip to the Town Hall to watch ‘What the Ladybird heard’. I also did a variation of this for New Year’s Eve which consisted of a family meal at Bella Italia.
I was quite poorly after Christmas, so had a few pj days which I haven’t listed here, but I did fit in a shopping trip where I picked up a fabulous Paul Costelloe jacket and a Monsoon dress which I will feature in a later post.
Overall, I’m really sorry to see Christmas go, but may well just cling onto the sparkle into January, which I always think is the dullest, saddest month of the year.
