August Outfit Post
It has to be said that I love August. Getting to have some quality time with my little boy is always a pleasure, plus it is also the month of my wedding anniversary, and we spend at least one week in Wales enjoying Summer. So whilst, in weather terms, it was far from a scorcher, there were still lots of opportunities to have a lot of family fun, and, with a few events thrown into the mix, it is a month that I’m already missing, especially as Autumn has arrived with cold, winds and lots of rain. In terms of fashion, there were a few new additions to my wardrobe,…

May Outfit Posts
May was busy. In fact, May was an extremely busy month. It was filled with press shows, events and family time, and it also featured some sunshine, and weather that was decidedly sunny – hurray! That said, it almost ruined the Bank holiday by pouring with a rain storm that can only be described as biblical, which was a shame, as the Friday before the Whitsun bank holiday was hot, hot, hot. I was in Wales for the Bank holiday and have to say we had two nice days, and in Britain, two out of three isn’t bad. In terms of my wardrobe, May was filled with lots of my…

March Outfit Post #WIWT
Another month has been and gone, and I have to say, where is the year going? March is always a month I dread. Sure, I love the coming of Spring, the lighter nights and sunny days that we did get to enjoy last month. But with all that comes a month of birthdays – my dad, my brother, my brother in law and my hubby. It makes March a very expensive month. So thank goodness that Spring also brings more sales, and I have been able to pick up some real bargains over the last month, both online and in store. The charity shops have also been amazing, I have…

February Outfit Post
February. The shortest month but also one of the busiest. With half term falling at the end of the month I had to fit work around Joe’s soccer camp, football presentations and half term treats – this was one of those month’s when I really missed being at home, it seemed like I was out so much. Clothing wise, there has been a mixture of casual and dressy, and I found that the shops were still full of bargains as the sales continued. I’m currently avoiding Spring as it doesn’t feel anywhere near warm enough to be wearing pastels and thinner clothing. That said, some of my best charity shop…

January Outfit Post Pt 1
I have to say that I am so glad that January is over. I’ve never been a fan of the month, it is such an anti-climax after the fun and sparkle of Christmas, and this month it has been made worse by very cold weather and a house full of regular bouts of illness. That said, in terms of fashion, it hasn’t been all that bad. January has the last of the sales. This is a time when the shops are filled with lots of rubbish, but you can also get diamonds amongst the rough. A case in point is my animal print River Island skirt. I’d been trying to…
