Fashion Focus – Clarks Gore-tex boots
With Winter setting in with its ever changeable weather, now is definitely the time to invest in Clarks Gore-tex footwear. Whether your preference is for sporty style trainers, or sleek winter boots, the Gore-tex range has something for you stylewise, whilst promising to keep your feet warm and dry, whatever the weather.
Gore-tex technology in your footwear enables your feet to be protected from all-weather conditions whilst enabling your feet to breathe. This makes them the perfect footwear for both hot and cold days. For whilst in Winter you want to keep your feet warm and dry when walking through snow, sludge and rain, in Summer you really want to avoid that awful sweaty foot syndrome that you often find when wearing your normal trainers.
The latest Gore-tex range at Clarks is full of stylish designs that have mass appeal. Top of my list are the incredible Neeve Ella GTX knee-high boots, which have that English country look that allows you to believe that Stella Tennant and Luella Bartley would wear these whilst messing about with horses.
Another design that I love are the Mara Sand, which, in black leather, are another variation on the classic riding boot. Sleek and stylish, these are the wear anywhere boots from the Gore-tex collection.
As well as sleek, knee-high boots, the Gore-tex collection also contains a great range of snowboots that will look as great on the school run as they do on the slopes. The Iso Hi boots contain an extra insulated lining for extra warmth, and rubber soles for that extra grip for the days of treacherous pavements.
And of course there are trainers. Lightweight, stylish women’s trainers that have WaveWalk outsoles (they allow you to walk longer for less effort) as well as the Gore-tex technology, making them perfect for ladies who spend long periods of time on their feet. I have seen many ladies wearing these in London on the commute into work, keeping their uncomfortable heels in ta bag until they get to the office.
