My fave place to shop for shoes has to be Clarks. I get all Joe’s school shoes from there, they literally last until he needs a new size, they are hard-wearing and tough and yet super comfortable too. My hubby is a big fan of the Clarks Originals Desert Boots, having both the suede and leather versions, and basically living in them, especially the leather ones. I made my first venture to the sales yesterday, and I’m still shuddering at the thought of it. I’m sure there were a great many bargains to be found, but you had to search hard amongst the rails of unmitigated rubbish, with pulls, rips, missing sequins seeming to be the order of the day.
