Seriously Stylish Sales Picks
I made my first venture to the sales yesterday, and I’m still shuddering at the thought of it. I’m sure there were a great many bargains to be found, but you had to search hard amongst the rails of unmitigated rubbish, with pulls, rips, missing sequins seeming to be the order of the day.
The rule of the sales is get there early, when they first start, in order to pick up real bargains. With many of the ‘new years sales’ now starting before Christmas, by the time you get to New Year, you are often faced with items better left to the dustbin than the bargain bin. And this is where the internet really comes into its own for sales shopping.
No crowds, no damaged goods, no pieces from Summer 2011 suddenly and mysteriously appearing on shop rails all over again, there are a great many bargains to be found online as the sales draw to a close. And with many stores now offering up to 70% off, there are real bargains to be found.
I’ve trawled a few of my favourite online destinations to find some great buys. Here are my key finds from Selfridges, Clarks, Boden and Evans.

The sales just aren’t as good as I remember them! The pre Xmas sales ruin it & afterwards all thats left is the rubbish from seasons ago! Lol! I only sale shopped online this year as I couldn’t cope with the chaos! Ax

Agreed! Did get some good bargains before the break, from H&M, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis and M&S. But after…not a sausage in stores. Just such a mess, and so much damaged stuff.

Love all these picks. I just made it into the mall today. I have been picking stuff up online but returning a bunch too so always fun to see what others have found!

Love looking at other people’s shopping too – perfectly acceptable nosiness and so much fun. Will pop along to have a look at your finds.x
