Friday fashion focus – Yellow
When it comes to colour, there is one shade that I always move towards. Yellow is the colour of sunshine, custard, buttercups and dandelions, of pretty tea roses and Big Bird, and it is one of my favourite things. I love it in Winter when the days are short and dark, it just adds a little bit of sparkle to make everything seem a little brighter. In Spring and Summer, it just adds to the general mood lifting and frankly makes me feel a little bit happier.
Celebs love yellow too.
For fans of yellow, now is a great time to add a few more bright and beautiful pieces to your wardrobe. The High Street and Designer ranges are just chocked full of yellow pieces, ranging from soft lemon shades to really vibrant, zesty yellows. You can opt for accessories if not feeling brave enough for a yellow dress – there are some really gorgeous yellow shoes about at the moment. Or maybe you could go for a bag, I’m loving the yellow version of the La Pliage bag from Selfridges.
What are your thoughts on yellow? It may not be the pantone colour for 2015, but it is definitely my first choice.

Yellow is a great, cheerful colour for clothing but I have to be careful as most of the time I’m so pale it tends to reflect off my skin and I look like I have jaundice, hehe.
