Friday Fashion: Sequins From Goddiva

Well, to say that yesterday was disappointing would be an understatement, but tier 3 or no tier 3 it is still almost Christmas, and when it comes to fashion, that means breaking out the sparkles and the glitter. I am a strong believer in the adage that the Christmas tree shouldn’t be the only ones that ‘sparkle and shine‘ during the festive season and I think that this is truer than ever this year.

Goddiva is a fabulous destination if you want to find sparkly tops. Their range is great for zoom parties, or for wearing on Christmas Day with your festive bubble A glittery top can be worn with jeans or coated skinnies for a look that is both glamorous and practical. Below I have put together an outfit idea that combines a gorgeous sequinned Bardot top and skinny jeans. I will definitely be wearing this outfit at some time over Christmas.

I don’t mind admitting that I am a magpie when it comes to shiny tops, and the Goddiva Bardot sequin crop top with cuffed sleeves is absolutely gorgeous. The colour is described as ‘CHAMPAGNE’ which is also perfectly apt for Christmas, and the size that I am wearing, which is M/L would easily stretch to fit a 16/18 as the elastication around the shoulders is generous, and the styling is loose fitting.

The top is described as having a crop style, but it is certainly long enough to be worn over the top of your waistband on your jeans or trousers. I do think the style suits trousers best, but there is enough fabric for it to be worn tucked in with a pencil skirt to give the effect of a dress.

Although it may feel for many of us that Christmas has been cancelled, that doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy dressing up a little
