Kumkumadi Face Cream With SPF 50 – Reviewed.
When you hit middle age, and, when you hit the peri menopause, your skin plays all sorts of tricks on you. You can go from having fairly good skin, with very few blemishes, to feeling like you are experiencing teenage acne all over again. Not only that, but the skin can become very sore, and truly in need of some nourishment. You may need to add extra steps to your daytime routine. You may even need to change your products.
My skin has been a total minefield recently. So I was definitely in the mood to try a new face cream. TJC, a brand we know so well for its beautiful jewellery, also has an extensive beauty and skincare section. They offered me the chance to test drive the Kumkumadi Face Cream With SPF 50. This is one of their hero products.
How to use
TJC have very high hopes when it comes to this face cream. They say it:-
-
- Increase your glow with skin-revitalizing ingredients.
- Energise and awaken dull skin for a radiant complexion.
- Minimise signs of tiredness, promoting a healthy look.
- Moisturise and nourish skin with a lightweight formula.
I decided to use this as a day cream, as it has a very light consistency that makes it quick and easy to absorb, so not an issue even if I wanted to apply make up afterwards. I also liked the idea that this is a pick me up for tired, and dull skin, something that can be an issue during menopause/peri menopause, if you are not sleeping well.
This cream is also very useful because it contains SPF 50, which means it doubles up as a sunscreen as well. We need sunscreen every day, especially on those very cold, but also bright Winter’s days. This cream means you only need one product, rather than two, so it can actually be saving you money too.
A Multi Purpose Cream
As well as adding hydration, which is the purpose of most day creams/moisturisers, this cream does so much more. It Cleanses and Refreshes Skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth, but also alive. It improves the look of your skin, making it glow, and look smoother. A little goes a long way, so this pot, which is 100ml in volume, will last a long time. It is also packaged beautifully, so if you are bothered about the aesthetics of how something looks on your bathroom shelf, you have no worries here.
Does it work?
I have been using this cream for a couple of months now, and can definitely see results. I was experiencing lots of angry breakouts, but these have subsided dramatically, and my skin is currently better than it has been this year. My skin is also softer, and a lot of the dryness I often suffer with around the edge of my face is a lot better. I would definitely say this has had positive results for me.
