One of my favourite brands, Lindex, have just released their fantastic Autumn/Winter collection and it is just fabulous. Full of classic, wearable pieces that will instantly becoming hard working members of your wardrobe, these are pieces that will work so well with what you already own, and tick the boxes for both style and comfort.

Midi skirt in satin

Bias cut satin skirts have had a resurgence in recent years, and are now almost as popular as they were in their 90’s heyday. This is not really a surprise as they are eminently wearable for both day and night, can be teamed with a simple knit for a more casual look, or with a camisole and a tuxedo jacket for a dressed up look.

The Lindex Midi skirt in satin comes in three colours, black, brown and dark, dusty khaki. I opted for the khaki version, which I think would go well with creams, black and brown shades, and is a lovely, Autumnal shade. The skirt has a good midi length, landing just below the knee, and has a fully elasticated waistband which makes it comfortable, and makes allowances for those days when you feel the bloat.

Top with puff sleeves

I teamed the skirt with the Lindex Top with puff sleeves that is just a brilliant basic. It comes in a range of colours and prints and works great when worn casually with jeans, but can certainly work for an evening with its pretty puff sleeved design.

It has a high, polo styled neckline, and is a stretchy fit due to the fabric containing 2% elastane. I am wearing a size large, which is roomy and perfect on my size 16 frame.

This is one of those wear forever pieces that Lindex are so good at.

Hoodie with brushed inside

If you are looking for more casual pieces to add to your Autumn wardrobe, then the Lindex Hoodie with brushed inside could be the perfect piece. This is a super pretty, soft pink hoodie, that has a fleece style lining which makes it so warm and cuddly. The hoodie is made from organic cotton, and has a relaxed style fit, with a boxy, non structured shape. It has an adjustable hood with a drawstring detail, has full, long sleeves and a stylish ribbed hem.

I am wearing this in size large and it is a really comfortable, cosy fit. I know I will be wearing this a lot this Autumn, for the football and on casual days.
