My Summer Wardrobe – A Bumper Outfit Of The Day Post
Due to a family holiday in Cyprus which also incorporated my brother’s wedding, I am really late with my outfit of the day post for June. It really has been an incredibly busy time, and June was the oddest of months, with both my birthday and Father’s Day falling in the month, as well as some great blogging events and family gatherings. Clearly it was a month when my wardrobe was going to be earning its keep.
The weather was practically schizophrenic, one moment the sun was so hot the only thing to do was immerse yourself in a pool (of the paddling variety in my case), the next there was rain and temperatures better suited to late October rather than the supposedly flaming June. This meant that the jeans could not be abandoned just yet, and some days still required sleeves of the longer variety.
There were some new purchases, specifically of the holiday variety, and there were also some great charity shop finds, but June was very much a month when old favourites showed their faces again, as I tried to avoid washing and wearing new pieces that I wanted to take on holiday. Where I can, I link to any pieces currently in stores, but this has proved to be more difficult in this post.

That strawberry bag is too cute for the summer. The pom pom one would be perfect into fall and Halloween.

I love the polka dot skirt but in terms of outfits I love the striped slip from New Look and the school run/ shopping and lunch looks. So cute as always! Plus I really want a straw bag too! xx

Charity shop finds! I am a huge believer in finding great things in charity shops. People always have that misconception that everything in them is horribly outdated, but it’s not! Last week I found a brand new Zara blouse with tags still attached. I love it how you combine everything and that strawberry shopper is just to die for… I want it! =D
