Nicole Murray – now view the collection.

I recently wrote about Fashion’s bright new hope Nicole Murray, a designer who I believe is one to watch. Today I am very pleased to be able to share Nicole’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. Full of Autumnal shades of heather, amethyst and rosewood, combined with rich earthy tones of bronze, this stylish and sophisticated collection illustrates perfectly why Nicole is a rising star on the British fashion scene.

From the slinky backless evening dress, to the retro pencil skirts and skinny fit tops, this is a collection that salutes the Halston style glamour of the 1970s. The use of lame for trenchcoats and sexy secretary skirts is a key to the effortless elegance of the overall look. I would love to see Kiera Knightley wearing that aubergine backless dress in the softest silk jersey, whilst the  wool lame trenchcoat in shimmering amethyst would be perfect for Emma Watson.

My personal favourite is the amethyst georgette gown with the leather collar. That leather collar just adds a touch of contemporary edge to a classic gown.
