Orange – Fashion’s newest obsession
Orange is having a bit of a fashion moment. Wherever you look, it seems likely you will spot that most zesty and fruity of all colours. It has been making its mark on New York Fashion Week catwalk, Herve Leger and Carolina Herrera have applied it to glossy evening wear, whilst J Crew shows why a brightly coloured coat is a must-have for grey days.
On the red carpet, it is a smash hit. Abbie Cornish looked so beautiful in a tangerine Elie Saab number covered in embellishments, whilst Reese Witherspoon and Karlie Kloss have both shown how well this most citrus of colours adapts itself to bodycon and classic Roland Mouret styles.
And if that wasn’t enough to show that this is truly the season of the orange, that most stylish of front rowers, the trendsetter rule breaker Solange, has shown that this is just the perfect colour to mesh into her colour and pattern clashing wardrobe.
The High Street and Designer ranges are awash with this beautiful bright. It looks great as a block bold colour, and also colour clashed with hot pink, cobalt blue and deep green. If you are not brave enough to go for a block option, try it as an accent (like on the Next top) or as an accessory.

I think I’m getting obsessed with Solange – think she might just be perfect!

I love colour too – especially in this crappy weather.

I think we might start to see this colour more and more, in wardrobes and in beauty.
