Friday Fashion – Black Panther Premiere
Red Carpet Premieres can often be staid, even boring events when it comes to the clothes. In these days of stylists, so many stars play it safe, wearing chic but ultimately unmemorable looks. But non of these accusations can be made against the stunning ladies who graced the Black Panther premiere this week. The looks were a riot of style, bright colours and thinking outside that fashion box. In short, they were amazing. The latest film from the Marvel stable, Black Panther is one of the most anticipated films of recent times. With a mainly Black cast and a black super hero, Black Panther is a film that promises to…

2016 Tony Awards – The best dressed
The Tony Awards are the night when achievement on Broadway is celebrated, and the 2016 ceremony had more than it’s fair share of Hollywood glamour. Beautiful film stars like Lupita Nyong’o, Rose Byrne and Saoirse Ronan joined supermodels Jourdan Dunn and Joan Smalls in walking the red carpet, and there were plenty of exquisite looks for fashion fans to savour. If you are reading this post and want to know who won the awards, you are going to be disappointed. I have no clue as to what or who was nominated, or who the eventual winners were. But what I do know is that there were some amazing dresses on…

The Cannes fashion fest has begun
My favourite feast of fashion is finally here, and I am unbelievably excited. Yes, the Cannes film festival has begun, and with the likes of Sienna Miller, Lupita Nyong’o, Natalie Portman, Naomi Watts, and (sighs) Fan Bingbing in attendence, the bar is set for some amazing fashion looks. I love the drama and decadence of Cannes, the gorgeous weather and stunning scenary just seems to lend itself to the most exquisite of photo opps, and the stars always seem to deliver in abundance. Who can forget last years movie star masterclass from Blake Lively, when she appeared in beautiful look after beautiful look. Other stars who have ruled that red…

The SAG Awards 2015 – The Key Looks
I sat up late last night, with the TV switched to the E! Channel, ready for ‘Live from the Red Carpet’ coming direct from the SAG Awards. I must admit I love the SAG Awards as the style is usually a little more laid back than other Awards season events, with celebrities more likely to take a bit of a risk. But for the first hour last night, I was bored, and a bit horrified by the style on display. There were just so many ill-fitting dresses, in materials that could only be described as highly-flammable looking. Ladies who I usually hold in high esteem, like the gorgeous Julianna Margulies,…

Celebrity dress special featuring Lupita Nyong’o, Sandra Bullock and Sophie Ellis Bextor
If there is one item of apparel I couldn’t live without, it’s the dress. From short, flirty mini’s, to fabulous full length evening wear, my wardrobe is 75% dress, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Like most people, I take inspiration for my frocks from a range of sources, and TV and the Red Carpet are certainly amongst the places I look to. This month there have been a flurry of red carpet events which the High Street have been quick to respond to. Some of the ladies at these key events have actually been sporting the best of the High Street themselves. Television presenter Zoe Hardman looked fantastic…
