Shoe Trends For Spring 2023
After a Winter that was fairly mild generally, but still at times felt pretty cold, isn’t it lovely to be finally heading into a new season and brighter days. A new season means we can take those Spring/Summer dresses back out of storage and can also think of adding some new season footwear to update our looks.
I have to admit I love buying shoes, let’s be honest, even when we’re having those days when nothing else seems to suit, we can take a lot of pleasure in a new pair of shoes or boots. I’ve recently discovered Shoe Time, a great destination for a wide range of shoes, boots and sandals that incorporate both classic styles and ultra fashion forward looks. They have the stylish and elegant, the weird and the wonderful – literally something for all tastes and for all ages.
I have been looking at some of the key trends that Shoe Time have for Spring and choosing some of my favourite looks.
Rhinestone – heels and beyond
I often think I must have been a magpie in a previous life as I totally love a bit of sparkle, so a rhinestone design is something that will always catch my eye and make me smile. Shoe Time loves to add a rhinestone, whether it be to a heel, or as a band on a sandal, or even on a trainer/sneaker for a real Beyonce style look.
The great thing about a rhinestone heels sandal is that it will work for an evening look with a slinky Femme Luxe dress, but will also look great with simple jeans and a camisole for a cool look for a bar or pub. My favourite current design are the rhinestone chunky heel and peep toe which remind me of something Kylie Minogue wore in a pop video a few years ago.
Soda Shoes
One of the main brands available at Shoe Time is Soda Shoes. This is a very fashion forward brand that does its own takes on styles that resemble the iconic Doc Martens. Doc Martens aka Docs are very popular currently with literally everyone, but they are very expensive if you are on a fashion budget. Soda Shoes does some brilliant designs that give all the look and style, but at a fraction of the price.
The Soda Shoes combat styles come in a range of colours, from classic black, to a glossy white, from a really cool, glam rock styled gold, which are a real statement piece. In addition to these designs, there are also chunky styled Chelsea boots, which take the classic look, and add a chunky platform style heel and sole, and also some great cowboy boots that will be just perfect with shorts for a Daisy Duke look this Summer.
One final pick from Shoe Time Soda Shoes range that I love is this gorgeous plaited sandal design in the prettiest of pink shades (they have a blue version which is also gorgeous.) It may well still be some time before we hit sandal season, but these are just lovely and are sure to look fabulous with a pretty sun dress or a pair of denim cutoffs.
Are you thinking about your Spring and Summer shoes yet? What style do you opt for?

Thank you for sharing. I really like the white Soda Shoes! They both give a cool statement – and, to be honest, the sandals are not “Spring” for me – but Summer!
