Snow Queen inspiration at Topshop
Hans Christian Anderson was a true literary genius wasn’t he. For when he created the Snow Queen, he not only created one of the most memorable characters in children’s literature, he also produced a legendary fashion icon. When Winter comes, and if there is even a little chance of snow, the stark white, slivers of silver and lashings of fur become total wardrobe favourites. Because who doesn’t want to look like a beautiful Snow Queen in a Winter Wonderland?
This season Topshop have created a range of pieces that will allow you to take inspiration from that chilly but beautiful fashionista, with dresses that have sequins and sparkle, cuddly fur coats that would work as a daytime look slung over jeans and a Christmas jumper, or worn over the little black dress for a glamorous evening event.
The accessories are pretty fabulous too. Luxurious furry scarves and cute earmuffs will help you be the warmest Snow Queen around (if that is allowed of course, bit of an oxymoron to have a hot Snow Queen…). Shoes have to be sparkling metallics that would be very difficult to walk on ice in, but pretty all the same.
So, channel your inner Snow Queen this season, and dream of a White Christmas.

I am so loving the faux fur this season. My colleague has bought one, and she is sooo touchable when she wears it. 🙂

I have a couple of black ones but am so tempted to get a light coloured one now, did try one in Topshop but resisted.

Topshop has some really great pieces this season, I got a sequin skirt and one of the furry scarves last time I was in.
