Spartoo – My top five shoe picks for the new season

Spartoo never lets me down when I’m looking for new shoes. And as it is easier to update your wardrobe for a new season by adding some new accessories, this is always an online September stopping point. I know I will find daytime styles that offer comfort teamed with an hardworking, hard-wearing ethos, but in the sort of pretty package that I demand. But I also know that I will be bowled over by some of the prettiest, glitziest party shoes out there. And I know I will succumb – because I can never resist shoes!

So, here are my top five current picks from Spartoo’s enormous range. Let me know what you think of my choices.

I’m totally in love with these amazing Leopard shoes from Edith & Ella.  I love the idea of wearing these on the school run, with jeans and a chunky knit. The loafer style gives them a hint of a more casual look, but that heel adds an element of sophistication that means you will get lots of use out of them – making them a great investment buy.

Glamorous shoes are an absolute must in your Autumn/Winter wardrobe, especially when all those seasonal party invites start to drop through the letter. I adore the shiny grey Colleen heels from Buffalo, which are just ultra glamorous. With a slight platform, these are the sort of shoes that Kate Middleton swears by, as they are more comfortable than a traditional stiletto.

With burgundy and berry shades a huge story this season, the Lolita Ghillie lace ups from Hush puppies are an amazing mixture of style and comfort. The colour is just gorgeous, but the shoes retain the inner comfort soles that Hush Puppies have long been renowned for.

The Ravel Kingdom shoes are currently residing at number one position on my wish-list. These are simply divine. In nude, but with contrasting silver sparkle, Ravel have taken a colour  combination I would never have even considered, and made it an absolute winning party shoe.

Also from Ravel, and also inducing shoe lust in me is the Kennedy flat. This again is a combination of print and shine, with a leopard print toe detail combined with sparkling gold. Perfect for adding glitz to an everyday outfit, or teaming with your little black dress when you want to save your feet from dancing shoe pain!
