A night at Benjamin Ryan Hair and Beauty
The Great Western Arcade is one of Birmingham’s gems. A beautiful Victorian shopping arcade, Great Western houses some of the best independent stores in the City. Last week it was host to a special Christmas shopping evening, which saw the Arcade become alive with the sound of a festive choir, and treated customers to special discounts and late night openings at all stores. Benjamin Ryan Hair and Beauty welcomed bloggers and fashion folk for a glass of bubbly and nibbles, and a look around the wonderful salon. Benjamin Ryan is one of Birmingham’s leading hair and beauty salons, offering a range of treatments that run from hair styling to Botox…

Reviewed – Kiehls Creme de Corps Ltd Edition
As we get ever closer to Christmas, our fave beauty brands really up their game, producing new formulations, limited edition scents and variations on festive packaging. It is always exciting to see how our favourite products will be revamped before they hit Santa’s sack. One of my favourite brands, Kiehls, has taken some of its hero products and repackaged them with a distinctly starry Christmas feel. Using a gorgeous red label emblazoned with a graffiti style background print and festive stars, the Kiehls holiday labels have been especially designed by the iconic New York graffiti artist Eric Haze. It goes without saying that the bottles and jars will look amazing…

Coming in a fabulous glass bottle with a squeezy stopper that ensures the product is…

Reviewed – Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo
I only really wear lipstick for a glamorous night out, and then I do go for Hollywood bright colours. But on a day-to-day basis, I tend to leave the lips natural, or just add a tinted lip balm. So the idea of a nude lip stylo, that was designed to enhance the natural colour of the lips, whilst also leaving them feeling soft and conditioned, was something I was most definitely interested in. Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo offers all of those things, and is now available from that most beautiful of department stores, Liberty. First things first, the Hourglass nude Lip Stylo looks amazing. I’m a sucker for packaging…

Kiehls Skin Rescuer Reviewed
As part of my blog birthday celebrations (three years old this month), I’ve been lucky enough to be sent some fantastic products to review. The first product is a beauty one and came courtesy of the very lovely Jen Hale from Kiehls. Kiehls sent me a bottle of their skin rescuer to try out, and I have to say the results were particularly impressive. I must admit that I had never used Kiehls products before, although I had heard and read very good things about them from both bloggers and in magazines. This product promises to reduce the visible signs of stress on skin, such as that caused by skin…
