Sizzling sales picks from M&Co
It is a well-known fact that the best time to buy yourself a dress for New Year’s Eve is in the Christmas sale. It is also a well-known fact that the January Sales we all used to love no longer exist, with the best sales bargains now all snapped up even before Santa Claus has paid that annual visit. With most delivery dates for Christmas being extended as late as the 22nd/23rd of December, you can still find yourself a perfect outfit to wear over the festive period, or even grab a last-minute Christmas present for a loved one, saving a huge amount of pennies into the bargain. M&Co have…

The Bullring Bloggers Christmas event
A couple of weeks ago I was invited to the second Bullring blogger event of the year, held in the hospitality suite of the iconic shopping venue. The Bullring bloggers events are always lovely, a chance to catch up with some of my favourite bloggers, a showcase for some fabulous fashion, beauty and food brands, and, if your time permits, a chance for a little bit of pampering. It was a wonderful way to start the Christmas celebrations. This event was a great showcase for many of the brands and, in particular, the personalised gifts stocked by Selfridges this Christmas. The fabulous fun pots of personalised Nutella, beautiful necklaces from…

Hatton Country World Enchanted Christmas
Yesterday we took a little trip to Warwickshire to take in the Enchanted Christmas experience at Hatton Country World. Hatton is a place I have never visited, so we were all very excited at checking out Christmas in the beautiful countryside. I have to say, we had the most wonderful time. Hatton is both a child friendly attraction, and a gorgeous shopping village that is full of interesting independent stores. Yesterday, there was also a Christmas market that was stocking everything from jewellery to vintage cake stands. Hatton is set in rolling countryside, and makes the most of this with different activities set out across lots of fields, from mini…

It’s Panto time as Cinderella thrills Wolverhampton
With the always fabulous (but very naughty) Julian Clary leading the cast, ‘Cinderella’, which opened at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre last night, was always going to be the bawdiest panto on offer this year, but it is also glittery, glamorous and oh so funny. Telling that aged-old story of a beautiful girl victimised by a couple of pug-ugly step-sisters, who then wins the heart of the handsome prince when she is the belle of the ball, only to have to run away on the stroke of midnight, leaving a rather gorgeous shoe behind, the Grand’s retelling stuck to the tale the audience know and love. What it did differently however,…

It’s Christmas Jumper Day this Friday
I have a confession to make, this year is the first year that I have ever been tempted to wear a Christmas jumper. In the past I have always thought they were for someone else, I loved them on my sister. who always looks super cute in them. My good friend Emily-Jayne totally rocks a Christmas jumper, and my little boy Joe just looks adorable in them. But me, a total no-no. That is, until last Friday… I had chosen a really cute design from Tipsy Elves, of a lovestruck Christmas Yeti with a sprig of mistletoe, ready to move in for the kill. This must be the jumper I’ve…
