Why Kate the Thrifty Duchess is great news!
Kate Middleton’s a true blue belle in ‘recycled’ azure coat for Prince Philip’s birthday celebrations – mirror.co.uk. Kate, Duchess of Cambridge shows no signs yet of giving up that amazing pre wedding wardrobe. After wearing a great dotted shift dress for a wedding on Saturday that she had previously worn in 2007, Kate showed yesterday why she is happy to live up to the moniker of the thrifty Duchess. For the celebrations to mark Prince Phillip´s 90th Birthday, Kate chose to wear a beautiful brocade coat that she had previously worn in 2009 to the wedding of Nicholas and Alice Van Cutsem. Why a wedding is a fashion show…with the aisle as your catwalk.
You m ay fool yourself into believing it is all about the exchange of vows, a declaration of your love for another person, but don’t be fooled too easily, A wedding is nothing more than an almighty fashion show, with the aisle your own personal catwalk, a veritable red carpet on which to strut your stuff! And there, on the front of the local Express and Star was the emblazoned headline ‘JB’S IN ADMINISTRATION’. Legendary Dudley venue under threat of closure. I instantly felt sick. JB’S couldn’t possibly close, it’s an institution, where bands like the Wonderstuff, Neds Atomic Dustbin and Pop Will Eat itself had started out. The…

5 Random fashion irritations
Having a quiet day today, baba is having a sleep, giving me the chance to flick through Heat, Grazia and Look, and to have a sound off about a few random fashion irritations that annoy me on a regular basis. People who wear winter boots, particularly Uggs, in Summer. Give your trotters a bit of an airing while you can. I look at girls wearing heavy boots, with bare legs and short skirts and all I can think is feet fungal infections. It’s so not a good look. Fearne Cotton!!! This women is supposeably a style icon. I could sum up her look in one sentence – a badly dressed…
