I was recently lucky enough to have a Twitter conversation with Pearl Lowe, where I was able to tell her how much I loved her feminine, vintage inspired designs for Peacocks. I explained that I was a curvy girl who had virtually lived in one of her designs over the summer, and that I couldn’t believe just how flattering the designs were for those with fuller figures. Five fashion eras in one month.
July is turning out to be an interesting month style wise, not least because it is the month when retro styling is embracing so many different eras. Just flicking through some magazines and trawling websites I was amazed to see celebs wearing a range of great looks that span from the 1950s right up to the 1990s.
