Festival fashion with a difference from Coachella
Coachella is that festival that will all wish we could go to. Taking place every year, it is the festival that the celebrity fashionista’s love, the one with the glorious weather, the one with no mud, the one where you can actually wear white. It combines sunshine, music, great clothes, pool parties, celebrity launches and lots of glamour. Yes, it is the one festival you can enjoy even if you hate tents! I have been looking at all the outfits from this year’s festival and have chosen my favourite looks. Admittedly, some of these looks were seen at the events that surround Coachella – I doubt very much that Dita’s…

Get the LFW look with the ASOS Daily Edit
With London Fashion Week in full swing, ASOS has been bringing us the best picks for what to wear to be front row ready. Each day, ASOS personal stylist, and admitted trendaholic Megan Ellaby has been bringing us a daily edit from the voluminous ASOS ranges, and edit that offers cool pieces that would not look out-of-place at London Fashion Week. Model Laura Bailey has been photographed wearing mannish pieces, wide leg trousers and men’s style…

Model Chloe Nygard takes those hen night glitter faves and makes them festival friendly – possible due to the teaming with multi-coloured hair and very quirky shorts. And Coachella DJ Daisy…

Pearl Lowe’s latest drop for Peacocks
With echoes of vintage Hollywood glamour, and the usual attention to flattering the figure, Pearl Lowe’s latest drop for Peacocks, which arrived this week, is her best yet. Modelled by daughter Daisy, this collection is choked full of elegant evening dresses and beautiful party dresses that make it perfect for the festive season. There are full length dresses that have a real 1930s feel, and then 50s silhouettes in red lace and black velvet. I absolutely love all of these dresses, but particularly have my eye on the black velvet 50s gown with the crochet style back. Pearl says of the collection;- “My Christmas collection is inspired by my favourite…

Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year awards…the key looks.
The end of the year always sees a flurry of activity for fashion awards. Harper’s Bazaar’s December issue announced their women of the year, and the awards ceremony, as you would expect, attracted a very fashionable crowd which included double Delavigne’s, two generations of model Le Bon’s, and a whole host of 1990s supermodels. Here are the key trends from the night. If in doubt – wear black! Daisy Lowe in her ringmaster costume, Yasmin Le Bon defying age, Laura Bailey, Claudia Winkleman, Liberty Ross, Sophie Dahl and Natalia Vodianova, all these ladies had one thing in common. They all opted for failsafe black. There outfits led to mixed results…
