- A Mini Christmas WishlistChristmas is now a little over two months away, and for me, this means I can begin my wish list and my shopping list. Due to it also being my little boy’s birthday on the 17th December, I have to start a little earlier now than I did pre-Joe, but it also leaves a lot to look forward to in December so I am not complaining too much. That said, the birthday and Christmas scenario does mean that the next couple of months are a pretty expensive time. I have been looking into installment loans online in a bid to spread the cost a little and give me an extra…
- TM Lewin – the day dress sorted.Question. You’re off shopping for a new dress. Not a dress for a special occasion or an event, but a dress that would be smart enough to be suitable for work in Summer, or could take you to sport’s day at the kid’s school. Where would be the first place you would look? I’m taking a wild stab in the dark here, but am guessing that the your first port of call wouldn’t be TM Lewin, best known to most of us as the place to find the perfect work-shirts for both men and women. But you would be missing out if you didn’t pay TM Lewin a visit, for…

Sarah Jessica Parker has looked totally fabulous the whole month through, attending a whole host of occasions and on the premiere trail for new movie, New Year. From vintage Pauline Trigere, Theyskens Theory and Louis Vuitton, she has shown over and over again why she is one of the most iconic fashionistas of all time. Her looks have ranged from princessy feathers to funky coloured tights. DVF 60s style mini dresses to white lace chic Stella McCartney numbers, there is no limit to SJP’s scope for reinvention. My favourite dress is the early 1960s style black…

Platform shoes, flares, halter neck maxi dresses and glam rock are all cherished by Fashion-Mommy. And in terms of Christmas, was it ever celebrated better than in the 70s.Think about it, you could watch Christmas Top of the Pops in 1973 whilst dance away to the sounds of Slade, Wizzard and Elton John ‘Stepping into Christmas’, then enjoy the Morecambe and Wise Christmas special whilst enjoying a snowball and a selection of vol-u-vents and other delights from the hostess trolley. What’s not to love? This Christmas you can channel the best of 70s…
- Duchess of Cambridge sparkles in sombre blackThe Remembrance day service at the Cenotaph is hardly a fashion parade, but when the Duchess of Cambridge is making another public appearance, then her outfit is sure to be commented upon. Yesterday Kate took her place with the other royal ladies, and surprised fashion onlookers by opting to wear a beautiful coat by American designer Diane Von Furstenberg. Up until now, she has plumped for British designers and British High Street when on British soil, yet on this most important of occasions she chose to wear a foreign designer. Still, it had to be said that the coat, from a previous season, was beautiful, with a detachable fur collar…
