Duchess Kate’s final Canadian looks take a cowgirl twist.
The Canadian leg of the royal tour came to an end with the Calgary stampede, which saw Duchess Kate in a white leather Stetson, cowboy boots and bootcut jeans. Dressing perfectly to fit the occasion, Kate reminded me of Elizabeth Taylor in Giant as she enjoyed the Calgary festivities. Kate wore two pretty blouses by Alice Temperley from her resort 2012 collection. The first was a pretty blue and white embroidered blouse with a real Country and Western feel to it. Kate teamed this with a pair of bootcut jeans from Goldsign – the Passion bootcut style that saw a move away from the J Brand skinnies that she seemed…

Kate’s casual looks in Canada.
After days of impeccable and super smart outfits, the Canadian royal tour has taken a turn for the casual! Kate has now been seen in her skinny fit J Brand skinny fit jeans on no less than 4 occasions, as she has toured more remote territories and has taken part in sporting activities. The J Brand jeans seem to be Kate’s new jeans of choice, rather than the Hudson jeans she wore lots before the wedding. But I really like how Kate has styled them for the tour. Most recently she has worn the dark denim with the Smythe jacket that she travelled to Canada in, giving another shout-out to…

The Duchess of Cambridge – Let’s give Kate a break.
Well, it had to happen, the knives are already out in the fashion world for Kate, Duchess of Cambridge. The always immaculate Duchess is being criticised online for her choice of wardrobe for the tour of Canada. I am beginning to feel really sorry for Kate, it seems that she really can’t please all the people, all the time. When she wears the High Street she is told she should be supporting British Designers by the likes of Vogue’s Alexandra Shulman and Grazia’s Laura Craik. When she recycles outfits there are moans about wearing something new. And now she is being accused of playing it too safe and being boring!…

Peacocks to release a royal wedding dress for just £60!
Fab High Street store Peacocks were one of the stores who had success with a copy of the Reiss engagement dress, and now they have launched what must be the most reasonably priced copy of the Sarah Burton wedding dress, priced at just £60. This dress is going to be launched as part of the Editions range as an online exclusive on August 6th, and is expected to be an instant sell-out. This is the first time that Peacocks has sold a wedding dress, and I think this is a very clever move, as this retains the spirit of the royal wedding dress, if not being an identical copy. Antonella…

Kate wears Issa and Catherine Walker as the fashion parade continues.
Wow! Am I enjoying this royal tour. As the weather in Canada continues to scorch, the gorgeous Duchess of Cambridge turns the temperatures up even further with her endless parade of perfect looks. This time it was the turn of Kate favourite Issa, in the shape of a stunning purple jersey style dress. Kate has already worn an Issa swallow print dress, but this purple dress was a new look, and I frankly loved it! With her elegant upswept hairdo, and accessorising with black Prada heels and another Anya Hindmarch bag, this time a neat clutch , this was an understated look that suited Kate perfectly. I love that she…
