February 13th sees one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the style calendar. The annual Elle Style awards attract a gaggle of gorgeously dressed stars, all showing off their most fashion forward looks on the Elle Red Carpet. Last years ceremony was a vintage one in terms of style. Thandie Newton, Helena Christianson and Sophie Ellis Bexter all showed serious style credentials, but my personal favourite was the icon that is Emma Watson . Does this girl ever have an off day? Next are the sponsors of this years Elle Style awards and they have set bloggers a challenge. Could you recreate your favourite Elle style look using pieces…

My week with Marilyn
I’ve been a Marilyn Monroe fan for as long as I can remember. Her sheer glamour, loveable persona and that beautiful face and figure made her my key beauty icon whilst I was growing up. Sunday saw the MTV Movie Awards, with a host of favourite style savvy stars walking the red carpet. Kristen Stewart, Emma Watson, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively were just a few of the fashion-forward stars that appeared at the event, which proved to be a bit of a fashion flop. Take a look at some of the outfits on display on the night. Good Emma Watson was the best dressed star on the night, in not one, but two fantastic dresses. Proving that white is still one of the hot shades this year, she looked beautiful in a Marchesa dress, that was both age appropriate and elegant. She then changed…

Nicole Murray – now view the collection.
I recently wrote about Fashion’s bright new hope Nicole Murray, a designer who I believe is one to watch. Today I am very pleased to be able to share Nicole’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. Full of Autumnal shades of heather, amethyst and rosewood, combined with rich earthy tones of bronze, this stylish and sophisticated collection illustrates perfectly why Nicole is a rising star on the British fashion scene. From the slinky backless evening dress, to the retro pencil skirts and skinny fit tops, this is a collection that salutes the Halston style glamour of the 1970s. The use of lame for trenchcoats and sexy secretary skirts is a key to the…
