Flash by Jimmy Choo – now at Debenhams
I have a new favourite perfume. ‘Flash‘ by Jimmy Choo is the 2nd fragrance from the famed shoe designer, and it is absolutely gorgeous. Scented with white flowers, and with elements of pink pepper and strawberry, this is a wonderfully intoxicating and sweet-smelling fragrance that lingers in the air long after you have spritzed it. Encased in a wonderful Art Deco styled bottle that resembles a flashbulb, and with a pretty lavender coloured perfume, ‘Flash’ has the look of something you would’ve found on Jean Harlow’s dressing table. Next launches a stunning new fragrance range
A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a very exciting product launch by Next. To be held at the plush Hempel Hotel in London, and concerned with all things fragrance, beauty and pampering, I was really looking forward to the event when disaster struck. My three-year old bumped his head at school and ended up with an injury that required hospital treatment. Instead of a luxurious pampering event I spent an afternoon in a minor injuries unit. L’Occitaine and In Style have been hosting a series of pampering and style events all over the country recently, and I was very excited to be invited to the Birmingham event, held in the Pavilions Birmingham branch, and attended by a host of stylish customers and fashion and beauty bloggers. It’s taken Madonna a long time to come up with her first perfume. After a career that has seen music, film,video, books, clothing for her own line and collaborations with H&M amongst others, it is hard to believe that 2012 has seen the very first fragrance from the Material girl.
