If I won the Lottery just what would I buy?
I love shopping! There, I’ve said it. I love the feel of getting something new, of finding a bargain, of treating myself, or a loved one, to something that has been admired, but may have been too expensive, and has maybe had to be saved for. But monthly bills and expenses, and also the ever growing expense of having a child who seems to grow out of things at an alarming rate means that my shopping habits have to be frugal and careful. How I wish that money was no object! I’ve become one of the best bargain hunters around. I love to shop vintage, adore charity shops, and enjoy…

Treat Yourself To A New Handbag This Autumn
If there is one fashion item that I cannot resist, it is the lure of a new handbag. When it comes to clothes and shoes I can hold myself back, but a handbag… I think it’s something to do with it being a treat item that you can use, whenever. It doesn’t matter if you lose or gain weight, your bag is totally forgiving. You can choose a different design to match every outfit, or can opt for a totally classic investment piece that will…

Glamour and heritage from Scotsburn Croft
I sometimes respond to Tweets looking for bloggers to review items. It’s a great way to get in touch and to discover a new brand that may not have been on your horizon before. I recently tweeted a company called Scotsburn Croft, and I can honestly say I have fallen in love with the craftmanship and heritage of their work. This is one company you must check out if you love your accessories to have class. Scotsburn Croft was founded in the Scottish Highlands by the seriously talented Clare Ferguson. She took her inspiration from growing up in the Highlands of Scotland, an area full of beautiful landscapes, real family…

New handbag lust list
Of all the fashion items you can buy, it is handbags that I have the biggest weakness for. I must have at least 200 now, and I can’t seem to part with any of them. I have some great designer buys from the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Michael Kors, Tods, Lulu Guinness, Mulberry and Marc Jacobs, along with lots of beautiful vintage clutches picked up in charity shops and flea markets, and plenty of High Street buys as well. The collection is stored under the bed, bursting out of cupboards, and is a constant source of moaning from the husband, but I still couldn’t bear to part with any of…
