Super luxe maxi dresses from Selfridges
Question – When is a maxi dress not a maxi dress? Answer – when it is a super luxe maxi dress from Selfridges of course! Selfridges currently has a range of maxi dresses that are enough to make you seriously drool. From a host of designers who read like a who’s who of fashion, there are designs that are just made for the poolside bar from Michael Kors and Mara Hoffman and printed versions from Diane Von Furstenberg that show that she has lost non of the iconic talent that made her wrap dress so successful. I love the Angelina Jolie style black draped dress from Helmet Lang, a classic…

Get the Look featuring Duchess of Cambridge, Christa Allen and Kaela Humphries
Here are some of the latest Celebrity looks that have caught my eye this week. Some of these are the actual item that has been worn by the celeb, whilst others are ideas of how you can achieve a similar look at a fraction of the price. We start with Kate Middleton, who has introduced a touch of Spring into her wardrobe with a beautiful mint tweed coat from Mulberry. Screen Producers Guild Awards – The Best looks
Ahead of the Screen Actors Guild awards, we have had the Screen Producers Awards, which were another feast for my fashionista eyes. Also not making my list was Amanda Seyfried, who chose to wear gorgeous zesty orange, but in a creased and ill-fitting dress. But there were some real movie stars out there too. Here are my favourite five of the night. Julianna Margulies was a 1940s movie…

The Met Gala – My best dressed
It is probably the most glamorous fashion event of the year, and this year again proved that when the world’s of Hollywood, fashion and modelling combine, you are sure of some totally standout looks, along with a couple you’d rather forget. This year’s theme was Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations, which ensured there would be a sea of Prada on display, along with a wonderful tribute to Schiaparelli’s famous Lobster print dress worn by Anna Wintour. There were plenty of other gowns to tantalise the fashion taste buds. These are my favourites from a wonderfully glamorous night. Carey Mulligan looked like a wonderfully space aged Judy Jetson in this stunning…
