Kate’s dress is on show – but Queen calls display horrid!
The press got their first view of the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress today when the Sarah Burton design went on display in the Ballroom of Buckingham Palace, but although the beauty of the dress and the rest of display pleased most spectators, it seems the Queen wasn’t particularly pleased, calling the staging of the dress ‘Horrid’ . The dress has been displayed on a headless mannequin, with the veil and Halo tiara sort of suspended in space, which the Queen expressed as being creepy! Kate, who was viewing the dress with the Queen was more tactful, saying it was displayed to show a 3D effect. Kate looked fabulous…

Kate leaves US with a flash of High Street Style.
And so the Royal tour has ended, and Kate has been stylishly triumphant. On her last day in the US, she visited Skid Row, indulged in a touch of painting, and met a starstruck Reece Witherspoon. Phew! Kate looked amazing, as ever in an outfit from High Street store Whistles. The pleated knee-length skirt is the Lina Dobby skirt, a rayon skirt with a high waist that taps into this seasons trend for pleats. She teamed it with a navy crocheted top from Whistles 2007 collection. The skirt is still available in size 16 at John Lewis website, having sold out in all other sizes at John Lewis, and having…

Kate goes to Hollywood…in Alexander McQueen
It was the night all Kate fans had been looking forward to, and the Duchess of Style didn’t disappoint. Kate looked absolutely amazing as she promoted two of British fashions biggest brands, Alexander McQueen and Jimmy Choo. Kate wore a beautiful Grecian style full length dress in lilac, with a silver white cumberband at the waistband. It had a style reminiscent of Fortuny pleats and looked very ethereal and floaty. She accessorised with stunning diamond chandelier earrings that were said to have been borrowed from The Queen, and an amazing (and high!) pair of silver Jimmy Choo vamp sandals and a matching clutch bag. In a room full of movie…
