Michelle Heaton launches the Aegon Classic Ladies Day
Yesterday I braved the snow and ice for a very special launch event that was taking place in Birmingham. In the glamorous confines of the In House Bar in Birmingham’s House of Fraser, the Aegon Classic Ladies Day was officially launched with Bucks Fizz, canapes and a very glamorous ambassador. The very beautiful Michelle Heaton from Liberty X was unveiled as the official face of this years ladies day, and a more wonderful and apt person could not have been chosen. Michelle recently faced a very difficult health decision after she found she had an 80% chance of developing breast cancer due to the mutated BRCA2 gene. Michelle had a…

Treat yourself – Up to 40% off Mary Portas at House of Fraser.
If, like me, you were intrigued by the Mary, Queen of Frocks programme, were dying to try the new range, but found it just a little on the pricey side, then all your Christmas’s may be coming at once. I first discovered charity shopping in mt teens. I visited my local shops on a regular basis, hunting for a-line skirts, crushed velvet apparel, vintage underskirts and nighties, and 70’s Adidas tops. Why don’t you have a stylish September?
I love the last page of style magazine par excellence Harpers Bazaar. The page where each month a stylish fashionista (think Victoria Beckham, Manolo Blahnik, Chrissie Hynde, and, this month, my favourite 60’s icon Marianne Faithfull) gives a list of suggestions for stylish things to do during the new month under the title ‘Why Don’t you…’ I’ve decided launch my own suggestions for why don’t you each month. Enjoy, and if you have anything else to suggest, leave a comment and add it to the site. WHY DON’T YOU… Enjoy a night out for charity. It is Vogue‘s ‘BIG NIGHT OUT’ tonight all over London. Fashionista’s everywhere will be putting…
