Just hours after Kate had wowed the crowds wearing an Alexander McQueen Ivory coatdress for trooping the colour, she was stepping out in yet another fabulous dress for the wedding of an old friend. Abandoning the McQueen dress, but keeping the beautiful black Vivienne Sheriff picture hat that she had worn so effectively to Trooping the Colour, Kate stepped out in a chic black and white dotted fitted dress and LK Bennett heels for the wedding of Sam Waley-Cohen and Annabel Ballin. If I am truly honest, the event I have most been awaiting this fashion year, aside from the obvious spate of weddings, is the occasion when Catherine,Duchess of Cambridge, makes her first official evening engagement since becoming a married women. The dresses worn by Kate, Duchess of Cambridge are continuing to make news and create mass excitement. Today it was revealed that the Sarah Burton wedding dress will go on display at Buckingham Palace during its Summer opening, From the 23rd July, visitors will be able to view the fabulous dress and accessories during visits to the state rooms. Meanwhile High Street store BHS have unveiled their version of the Royal wedding dress, along with a copy of the now infamous dress worn by Pippa Middleton. Kate dazzles at the Derby.
Be still my beating heart. The Duchess of Cambridge made an appearance at the Epsom Derby today, and to say she looked good would be the understatement of the year. She looked absolutely dazzling! The jury is still out on the designer of her immaculate chic outfit, and whether it was a designer number or a High Street find (the jacket may be from Joseph), but what I do know is that the off-white dress and jacket looked absolutely amazing against her Seychelles suntan. My favourite part of any month is the time when the new monthly magazines hit the shelves. I am always really excited by the idea of a few hours browsing through the fashion, gossip and stories in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle etc. So, in honour of this event, I took a trip to Wolverhampton this afternoon to enjoy a peruse around WH Smiths.
