Yesterday was pretty much my perfect day. It was glorious in the sunshine, filled with delicious food and Pimms by the jug. I spent it with wonderful friends and we watched some really impressive tennis in the sun. And I got to wear a gorgeous dress from Jacques Vert that had been specially gifted for the occasion. Yes, it was the AEGON Classic ladies day, held at the Edgbaston Priory in Birmingham, and it was all just fab! Ladies Day is always a pretty special occasion, a time to dress up, dig out the fascinator, and basically have a day of being glamorous – a real break from the norm.…

The Aegon Classic is back this Monday
Tennis fans start getting excited, the Aegon Classic is back! Starting this Monday, the Edgbaston Priory Tennis Club will be welcoming some of the most important, talented female tennis players to Birmingham for the tournament that is seen as a precursor to Wimbledon. This year, the tournament is welcoming Jelena Jankovic, Ana Ivanovic, last years winner Daniela Hantuchova along with British hopes Heather Watson, Johanna Konta and Naomi Broady. Exciting new hopes, Eugenie Bouchard and Sloane Stephens are also in the line-up, making this year’s tournament one of the most exciting and anticipated in years. It’s Wimbledon fortnight, and that means a host of super stylish celebrity tennis fans have descended on SW19, for champagne, strawberries, and , with our surprisingly good weather, a little bit of tennis action too.
