British Fashion Awards – The best Looks and how to get them.
The cream of the fashion glitterati turned out in force on Monday for the British fashion awards. Sarah Burton won a well deserved award for Best British Designer, with Victoria Beckham cementing her fashion status with her award for designer brand. My favourite shoe lady Charlotte Dellal won British Accessories award for her fantastic designers for Charlotte Olympia, and saw no less than Samantha Cameron sporting her red heels. But of course, what we really want to know is ‘what did everyone wear?’. Here are my favourite looks from the night. The ever-chic Victoria Beckham kept it simple with a self designed dress. I loved the pleated skirt, but think …

Victoria by Victoria Beckham – Really cute!
Victoria Beckham has finally unveiled her diffusion collection ‘Victoria’ by Victoria Beckham, and it is quite different from her usual collections to say the least. A cute collection of shorter, 1960s style shifts and mini dresses, this seems miles away from her usual collections in terms of sophistication. Whereas her Victoria Beckham line is full of cool and elegant looks, this is the fun and flirty side of Mrs Beckham. Dorothy Perkins new season – All about the dress.
I’ve just been previewing the gorgeous new collection from one of my High Street faves Dorothy Perkins, and its safe to say that if Spring/Summer 11 was all about the all-in-one jumpsuits, the Autumn/Winter is all about the dress. From Mad Men silhouettes to sexy leather shifts, from colour blocking to colour contrasting, from pencil skirts to skater skirts, there seems to be a dress for everyone. Look 1 – Rosie Huntington Whiteley in Michael Kors Rosie totally rocked in a black leather shift dress from Michael Kors. Who knew leather could look so sophisticated? You could copy this look in the stunning Leather and suede panelled dress from Dorothy…

Selfridges – White Christmas leaves me feeling all festive.
Last Thursday saw the press day to celebrate the launch of Selfridges Christmas department. This year the theme is White Christmas, and Fashion-Mommy was able to have a sneaky peak at all the exquisite gifts that will be on offer for the festive season. It was quite disconcerting to leave the sticky, summer heat outside and to then walk into a winter wonderland, but that’s exactly what happened. Bing Crosby crooned in the background, whilst a snow machine produced flurries of the white stuff. And this was perfectly apt, because there was an awful lot of white stuff on offer in the gift department. Beautiful white leather bags from the…
