The Met Ball – Frocky Horrors.
The Met ball was a night of High Fashion, but for every beautiful dress, there was a frocky horror story happening. Bad clothes did happen to good people on the evening. Here are the stars who really should’ve looked in a mirror before they left the house that evening! Rihanna. She wore a long lace Stella McCartney dress that raised that tiresome question – is she or isn’t she wearing any knickers. The quick answer is – who cares? Met Ball revisited – Good dresses.
The New York Costume Institute’s annual gala is THE fashion event of the year. Wall to Wall with stunning gowns and glamorous make-up, this is the one event that no fashionista wants to miss. Poor Beatrice’s hat has been compared to everything from an upturned toilet seat to a Telletubby, even gaining its own Facebook page, ‘Princess Beatrice’s ridiculous hat page. Beatrice is a big fan of Treacy, and has worn his creations in the past, often with the same ridicule, like when she wore the unusual butterfly…

From ‘Waity Katy to Waitrose Katy’
Almost a week after she walked down the aisle in that stunning McQueen dress, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge was spotted out and about on the Isle of Anglesey doing her food shop in the local branch of Waitrose. Kate looked casual but smart, showing that despite claims that the Queen had said that Kate should now avoid the skinny jeans, Kate is going to do no such thing. She was wearing one of her favourite brands, £195 Hudson jeans, with luxurious Sloane favourites – a long line white cashmere sweater, French Sole mock croc pumps, and a pretty green frilled shawl. Her hair was glossy, and although she did look …
