X Factor Week 3 – Kelly, Tulisa and a bit of Kelly Clarkson.
It was rock week on the X Factor this week(not that anyone told Tulisa..I mean Kesha???), and that meant Saturday was the night for leather, studs and a whole lot of black outfits. Kelly won the saturday night war in a sexy little black leather dress from…Topshop. This dress seemed made for her new curves and suited the rock night theme without going overboard. I liked so many details of this dress. The fact that the skirt was short, but not too short, and with the skater effect it avoided looking tarty like a straighter skirt would have done. Although I like Kelly’s hair when it is sleek and straight, a…

Evan Rachel Wood – The Perfect Halloween Icon.
I make no apologies for loving Evan Rachel Wood. She is a fantastic young actress (have you seen her in Mildred Pierce) and has a fascinating personal life that takes in both Marilyn Manson and (possibly)Mickey Rourke. She is not your average Hollywood starlet by any means, and her wardrobe choices echo this. She is possibly the girl who wears the colour black to the most dramatic effect at the moment, and although she does make other colour choices, like looking amazing in Alessandra Rich sparkling white at Cannes, I really love her style when she opts for the dark and the dramatic. From Pucci at the Recent Ides of…

Duchess of Cambridge – More ways to get the look!
I am a huge fan of the Duchess of Cambridge, and when browsing on websites I often find myself saying “doesn’t that look like the dress Kate wore for…” Kate’s style influence seems to be everywhere, from the longer sleeves, more ladylike looks, popularity for the shades of deep red and blue, and an abundance of wrap dresses. Here is a quick look at some of the Kate lookalikes I have found recently, along with a link in case you decide to treat yourself..after all, it is the weekend! Doesn’t that look like Kate’s Issa dress? Remember the purple Issa dress that Kate wore on her tour of Canada…then look…

Made in Chelsea – Caggie Dunlop style.
The undisputed female star of Made in Chelsea has to be Caggie Dunlop. The beautiful blonde with the Pre-Raphaelite curls and the bee stung lips has kept viewers hooked with her will she/won’t she relationship with Spencer, which at the moment is most definitely off..or on, you can hardly keep up. But as interesting as the star-crossed lovers might be, it is Caggie’s wardrobe that always catches my eye. Caggie is the most Bohemian dresser of the Made in Chelsea girls, she has that slightly mismatched, boho vibe that made Sienna Miller so appealing in the mid noughties. Caggie’s wardrobe is an interesting mixture of High Street picks, designer finds…

Bag a bargain with Jones Bootmaker
As something of a handbag aficionado, I never really need an excuse to buy a new bag…but getting £10 off is definitely an added incentive. One of my favourite shoe shops Jones Bootmaker has started a special promotion, just in time for the weekend, with £10 off some specially selected bags. And with a range of fabulous styles including my favourite animal prints, these are definitely not to be missed. I have chosen some of my favourite designs to share with Fashion-Mommy readers. These are great if you want to spoil yourself, or maybe even starting thinking about that dreaded Christmas..and the never-ending list of presents that you are faced…
