Style Icons of the month February – Rihanna and Adele
This is the first month where I’ve felt the need to add an ‘s’ to Icon, because this month was dominated by two ladies who require no surname, Adele and Rihanna. Other than the lack of surnames, these ladies don’t really have that much in common musically or stylewise, but they do have the knack of turning all eyes towards them when they walk the red carpet. Superdrug S/S press day – A feast of amazing beauty bargains
I was lucky enough to be invited to the recent Superdrug press day. This was held in the beautiful Haymarket Hotel in the heart of London on what turned out to be a glorious early Spring day (even though it was still February, I think 17 degrees constitutes Spring!). The usual suspects of Kate Moss, Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof will never miss this night of rock and roll debauchery, and in terms of style, the only thing guaranteed is that you will see lots of gothic black.
