A chat with Stacey Solomon at Birmingham Skyride
The Skyride hit the city of Birmingham last week in super style. Over 20,000 cyclists turned out to take part in this fab event, and they were rewarded with dry weather, some amazing BMX stunt riding, the chance to see an Olympic gold medal courtesy of the wonderful Laura Trott, and also the opportunity to meet the very lovely Stacey Solomon. I was very pleased to have the chance to meet Stacey and ask her some questions. She was super blonde, super tanned and super gorgeous (jealous much…). She was also very bubbly and friendly – just like her TV persona always shows. She had just completed a mammoth autograph…

Jessica Ennis – Queen of the World
Jessica Ennis is on top of the world right now, the Golden girl of sport with a gold medal to prove it. And it seems that sport is not the only area in which Jessica is excelling – showing herself to be no slouch in the style stakes either. Blessed with a glorious figure and a beautiful face, it would be hard for Jessica to look anything less than stunning, but her style choices have met with universal approval. Everyone who knows Fashion-Mommy knows that Bodhi is one of my favourite brands for real pampering luxury. The launch took place last week at the gorgeous Les Senteurs, deep in the heart of central London, just a stone’s throw from Marble Arch. This beautiful setting was perfect for a brand that…

Tabitha – The Stardust is back with a Disco beat!
Tabitha bags are back! I’m so excited to be writing that sentence. Tabitha Somerset Webb, the brains behind Tabitha, and one half of Project D (with Dannii Minogue of course) is going back to her first love, beautiful handbags. And to start with, she is relaunching a much loved classic – the glorious Stardust bag. The Stardust bag was an instant success when it was originally launched, a stunning confection of soft leather and studding that conferred to create a fabulous bag. It gained a celebrity following, Dannii Minogue, Mylene Klass, Fearne Cotton, Kimberly Walsh and Rochelle Wiseman were amongst the stylish devotees of the Stardust. But, perhaps the most…

V festival – a sea of dresses
Maybe it’s because the weather has been ‘too darn hot’ in the inimitable words of Ann Miller, but amidst the usual parade of denim and hotpants, there were a lot of very pretty dresses on display at the V festival this last weekend. There were maxi dresses, midi dresses, gorgeous vintage print tea dresses and even some candy stripes courtesy of Sophie Ellie Bexter. This was a true taste of summer, and the style that I love most – feminine, girly, but grunged up a little with some boots and shaggy hair. Top glamour marks must go to Billie Piper, who looked glorious in her Ossie Clark style maxi –…
