The Kardashian collection has arrived at Dorothy Perkins
Today’s the day when one of the most anticipated High Street collaborations ever arrives in stores. The Kardashian collection, designed by Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, is now available from selected Dorothy Perkins stores and online. I must admit that I am really excited about this collection. The Kardashian sisters are known for their deeply glamorous appearance, with Kim in particular feted as a modern-day goddess of beauty. But what is also interesting about these girls is that they encompass a whole range of body types. Kim is, of course, petite in statue and curvy in body, with the ultimate derriere. Khloe is gorgeously curvy and 5ft 10 inches tall, meaning…

Kelly Brook’s latest collection for New Look – a whole lot of Sparkle
Kelly Brook’s latest drop has just arrived at New Look, and it is literally sparkling. Full of sequins and glitter, and Jessica Rabbit styled slinky dresses, Kelly is yet again encouraging women to love and embrace their curves and dress like a Hollywood star. With Christmas just around the corner, this collection is a perfect way to embrace all that is glossy and glamorous about the festive season. The standout pieces are the full length sequinned evening gowns in silver and (my personal favourite) pewter. I love these dresses, all the emphasis is placed on the back as an erogenous zone, making them super slinky, and making you look just…

X Factor Fash Off – Week 5 – Pretty, Pretty,Pretty
This week I had a shock, horror revelation during the vote off show as I realised that I had loved all the dresses on display over the weekend. From Tulisa covering up and looking great, to Nicole showing that you can reveal skin without looking tarty, I totally enjoyed all four of the looks we were treated to. No frock horror shows, nothing to edgy or experimental, just four great dresses. Saturday night On Saturday night Tulisa just sparkled in a beautiful dress from New York designer Jovani. The exquisite and strategically placed beading looked amazing under the studio lights, reminding me of the skin and beads dresses designed by…

Downton Bows out – Now steal the flapper look
The current series of Downton Abbey came to an end last night. This series had been set in the decade known as the roaring 20s and had allowed flapper fashions to light up our Sunday evenings. The looser styles, drop waisted cuts and a mixture of both deep shades and nude peaches and creams had shown that the style of the 1920s can fit all moods and occasions. Maybe that is why there are so many 1920s style dresses available this Christmas. And whilst the fallacy is that this is a style only made for extremely boyish figures, the reality is somewhat different. I myself wore the beautiful Evans Gatsby…
