A Selfridges Christmas – ‘Not your Usual Christmas’
Last week I was lucky enough to attend my second Selfridges Christmas Bloggers event in that wonderful store in Birmingham. Meeting up with so many of my favourite bloggers from the Midlands, whilst enjoying the chance to look at upcoming trends and current in-store obsessions, this is always a night to treasure. If you then add in a gorgeous meal at Itihaas Indian Brasserie and a makeover at Sisley, you get a night that is truly one to remember. Here are some of my key highlights from a wonderful night. 1 Shoes to die for… 2. You can never have too many bags! 3. Gorgeous Garments 4. Blogger fun…

Blog Takeover – Fashion Mr Speaks
When I was offered the opportunity to take over Emma’s blog, I was a little bit skeptical. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I like my clothes as much as anyone else, but writing about them? That was something outside my remit. But then Em explained that this was a special project looking to test out whether lucky charms really do work, and that I would be given some lucky charms (cereal as it turned out), as well as a few other gifts, such as cufflinks and DVDs to test out. Jingle Belles – The Spice Girls, X Factor and a bit of Girls Aloud.
Even as the year draws to a close, we still have time to feast our eyes on a host of wonderful looks, as those Christmas events come rolling in thick and fast. Last weekend alone saw the Capital Radio Jingle Bells Ball featuring the newly reformed Girls Aloud and girl of the year Rita Ora amongst others, whilst the X Factor final saw Nicole and James Arthur reigning supreme. There have been other fashionable moments that also deserve to be celebrated, last night saw all five of the Spice Girls together for the premiere of Viva Forever, all looking suitably stunning and totally individual. And then there are just some…

Celebrity Winter style – glitter, fur and Pretty dresses
Do you find it hard to stay stylish in these colder temperatures? I must admit that I do. I hate having to wear coats and copious amounts of layers, and I’m finding that this year I just keep heading for the jeans on those very crisp mornings. How different it must be to be a celebrity, looking fabulous no matter how many layers you’ve added, or just ignoring the cold weather a la Amelia Lily to wear your dress bare-legged. Here are four hot looks that are easy to adapt to your wardrobe as the main items are from High Street and internet labels. My favourite? Check out that snug…

#XmasSavingTips Challenge with BritMums – My tips
Phones are just totally indispensible come Christmas time (I know, anytime really) but at Christmas time they just come into their own. Just this week I’ve used to my phone to plan a birthday party for my little boy. Facebook all the invites, text my best friend to arrange a pre-christmas drink, and ordered a few extra pressies online. Indeed, whatever did we do before we had our phones? Tesco Mobile currently have some special December offers that make them a great choice for families. This Christmas they are offering families some of the best deals on handsets and tariffs. Most notably the Samsung Galaxy Ace – available for £12.50 a month…
